Join us as we host Southern Windsor County Forester, Hannah Dallas, for an in-person walk and conversation about landscape resilience. Landscape resilience is the ability for a landscape to withstand stress in the face of a changing climate and other factors. Resiliency is achieved through supporting biodiversity, maintaining ecological functions, restoring balance to degraded systems, and much more. Our discussion will be inspired by the locations we visit on the Farm & Wilderness conserved property and the interest of participants.
This event is limited to 25 participants and light refreshments will be available before the walk.
Farm and Wilderness Camps and Conservation work together to conserve over 4,800 acres of land in Plymouth and Mount Holly and provide 7 summer camps for youth with immersive outdoor programming. We encourage the community to come onsite to learn more about our conservation efforts in the area and to learn how landowners can benefit from resources provided from the VT FPR.
