Ninevah Foundation Recovery Fund

We need your support. The world may be changing around us, but Ninevah Foundation’s commitment to protecting Lake Ninevah and its surrounding land hasn’t. We were hoping 2020 would be a milestone year for us, expanding and strengthening our conservation efforts. Then the pandemic hit. We were forced to adjust and postpone much of the community programming we had planned for this summer. While we remain committed to protecting the lake and managing the woodlands, to do so, we especially need your support now.

As many of you are aware, Ninevah Foundation’s stewardship programs are highly dependent on the revenue it receives from Farm &Wilderness in the form of rent for the land used by their camps. Because of the pandemic, however, Farm & Wilderness cannot operate its camps this summer and had to reduce its rent payment. To continue our regular land and lake stewardship programming this year, including the greeter program at the State fishing access to check boats for invasives, divers to conduct surveys for milfoil growing in the lake, and removal and prevention of land invasive plants, we need your help now - more than ever - and have established the Ninevah Foundation Recovery Fund with a goal of $10,000.

Your generous gift will help the Ninevah Foundation continue to lead the way in protecting and preserving our lakes and land, including equipping staff and volunteers with the tools they need, while empowering our community to help us do the same. Help us ensure the continuation of our critical stewardship and educational work. Ninevah Foundation is aware of the financial strain this global crisis is having on everyone. If you’re able, please help us reach our $10,000 goal by making a gift to the Ninevah Foundation Recovery Fund. You can send your donation using the Support Our Work page or directly though Paypal HERE. If you’ve already made a gift, THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
Jay Kullman
Interim Executive Director

P.S. 100% of your gift will go to the Ninevah Foundation Recovery Fund providing the support we need to keep Lake Ninevah and its surrounding land healthy for current and future generations to come.
